Daily Agenda:Fri & Tue 9/3-9/6: Pep Rally Schedule. Review One Note and sync portal to on line app. Students will get into groups and research Lord Tennyson. Author biography group game. Wed & Thu 9/1 - 9/2: Poetry selections per student from the Poetry 180 site will be recorded on the class Excel document. Collect 4 POMO poems per student and presentation dates- first come first serve basis. : One Note class account will be created. Explain class One Note account and navigate it explaining where all the assignments should be placed. Students are introduced to the POMO documents and a thorough explanation of the assignment and the presentation with grade weight and deadlines explained. Fri 9/3: Students will be writing the Cambridge Analytica Argumentative Essay Timed in class. Mon 8/30: Peer Pictionary Presentations Review the articles and discuss both in class. Thu 8/26: Watch the following documentary and complete the Video/Audio Response Sheet. For example, someone with the name Ann would draw an apple, a nose and a nest. Then, have the group try to spell and guess each person’s name. Students will review the Poetry 180 site and select there 4 POMO's with projected dates of presentation. First come first serve. Visit the site and review and select the four poems to be completed each nine week. Be sure that the poem you select has 15 lines or more. Mon 8/30: Cambridge Analytica HW 3 Thu 8/26: Sign up to Remind; enjoy your weekend with friends and family. Please bring your tablet to class Monday. Continue reading HW#2 Cambridge Analytica (you must have annotations on the printed article. Become familiar with the video footage and articles to be able to write an argumentative paper in class. Have copies of all your articles and annotations, to be used in class to complete the written timed essay. Tue 8/24: .
